Home-made hot, lean roast beef sandwiches are less calories than hoagies and more of a treat. Hot roast turkey breast sandwiches are a good bet too.Roast the meat the day before, take it back to the store for slicing and heat with gravy in a crock pot on game day.

Any tips on workouts to burn off the calories before the game?
I find my back hurts if I'm standing for a long time cooking in the kitchen. Anyone have tips on that? Stretches? Making someone else cook is usually my best solution but then I tend to get high calorie foods.

We could dedicate five extra sit ups this weekend to the courage of Donovan McNabb who --- sore leg and all --- went out to risk injury Saturday and prevailed.
We could take a walk around the block at half time Sunday during the NFC playoff in honor of Coach Andy Reid's methodical but smart and consistent training of his team.
Pick two new, health-related classes that you (and a spouse or friend, if you'd prefer exercising with company) might like to try once, and assign one to the buccaneers and one to the raiders. whoever wins, that's the class you go to the next week, to work off some of the wings and potato chips.

I then head right to my favorite salad spot for a light lunch. Off to make your favorite munchie and then put a low-fat, healthy mark on it. I have a great recipe for spinach dip - the secret ingredient is tofu. I have served it a number of times and no one has ever guessed.
