A teacher and basketball coach across the river in New Jersey is in trouble for giving a kid a special award at a banquet.
James Guillen, 24, a special-ed teacher, gave the 13-year-old boy a "Crybaby Award."
His town, Pleasantville, hasn't been quite so pleasant since then.
Last week the school board voted to fire Guillen. But that action wasn't binding, according to attorneys.
Schools Superintendent Edwin Coyle said he would order the coach to make a public apology, to cease coaching and to go to sensitivity training, after which he will have the perfect personality to receive his own "Crybaby Award."
