If Louisiana has any cool people left since Britney found her way out, you can be sure they’ll be hitting the interstates into Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas if a student-dress proposal goes into effect.

The proposal now in the state House would penalize young people who wear clothing that "intentionally exposes undergarments, or any portion of his or her pubic hair, cleft of the buttocks or genitals."

Do you wear your pants so low as to show your naked butt? If so, how do you feel about this obvious invasion of privacy and violation of the First Amendment? And if not, what gives you the right to tell these cool people, who are of course much cooler than we are, how to dress?

Unless they’re your kids, in which case you’ve already failed as a parent and should be forced to wear your pants down below your butt crack.
