Now that the People Paper has endorsed John Kerry, we want to point out that "Would We Lie?" is not responsible for anything on the editorial pages.
Or the sports pages, for that matter. Or, to be honest, practically anything in the paper. Period.
But we had to point out an amazing statistic that we think shows what a truly amazing job Mr. George W. Bush has done for this country:
The Centers for Drug Control and Prevention has announced that smoking by high school students has declined to the lowest level in the 21st century.
And who do we have to thank? That's right. The Big Dubya.
Why? Well, we're not really sure, but we're pretty sure it has something to do with the Patriot Act and men in black suits wearing sunglasses who leap out at unsuspecting students, slap the butts from their mouths, and then beat them senseless.
A small price to pay for a smoke-free society.

Posted by: chris on June 21, 2004 12:04 PMI've heard of this happening to others. Why is this problem being ignored?
Posted by: Brody on June 21, 2004 12:21 PMChris, please step away from the keyboard. Slowly. Your medication is on the way.
And Brody, are you speaking of Chris? We think it best to ignore such problems until the anti-psychotic drugs take effect. He really doesn't know what he's saying.
And to both of you, thanks for dropping by, and please keep reading. (Not necessarily writing, Chris.)
