The president has fallen.
Long live America.
Mr. Dubya, sturdy as a fencepost and just as brilliant, suffered only a minor booboo when he fell off his bike the other day at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
He scratched his knee. Surprisingly, he did not require medical attention.
Mr. Prez has fallen before, you know. He appears to be emulating that earlier president, George Ford, who stumbled about 4 zillion times back in the '70s.
We encourage GWB to be careful until Election Day. We don't think the world is ready for President George Cheney.
[Reader note: So as not to get too confused, we've decided to sort of adopt the practice of former heavyweight boxing champion of the world George Foreman, who named all his children George. Henceforth we shall call all our presidents, from Washington on, "George."]

I am really sick of you Vietnam ERA bleeding hearts. It's pretty amazing that you were protesting the war and the soliders that were over there fighting because that was their duty, but now you are backing one of them for president. I only have one word for you. Hipocrits. Whatever happened to respecting the office of the President, whether you agree with their policies or not. Oh, I know, that all went out the window along with Monica's pants and beret when the rest of the world was laughing at the United States, not fearing and respecting what we stand for. Whether you like it or not, the world is a safer place when we have a strong committed military presence and are willing to take the fight to the terrorists all over the Globe. If you think that Iraq and Sadam did not sponsor terrorism, then you are nuttier than the candidate you are supporting. If you want a weaker United States that will be more succeptable to a worse terrorist attack than 911 and higher taxes then vote for the Socialist, I mean Democratic candidate. I am not going to stoop to name calling and tricky little plays on words like all of the hippies who wanted to change the world in the 60's, but now just want to own their little piece of it. My how things have changed.
