Despite our feelings about George W. Bush and company, we applaud the boldness of one of their supporters.
In Louisiana, Debbie Dupeire gladly took off her Bush-Cheney T-shirt when told about a law forbidding the wearing of such items at the polls. Dupeire then voted in her bra.
That is, she was wearing only her bra when she voted. Plus pants and thongs, of course.
Wouldn't it have been nice if removal of the shirt had also cleared her mind and led her to vote the right way.
But no such luck.
And let us say one more time: CONGRATULATIONS, MR. PRESIDENT!
